Philosophy for Religious Education
The religious education program for Children's Ministry is intended to support parents in educating their children about the Catholic faith. Each grade level provides learning experiences based on the individual child's understanding of God and the church. Emphasis on church doctrine is included with each lesson, and prayer is an integral part of each class
Lessons for Grade K- 5 are every Tuesday at 5:30 pm in the Parish Hall. Register at the parish office or contact Terri-Ann Wynans.
Parents are invited to stay and meet in the parish hall during this time for coffee, fellowship and faith discussions.
Every last Sunday of the month from October – April, the children participate in all areas of the Mass. The homily for this Mass is specifically directed to the children who are invited to sit around the altar during the homily. Children who love to sing are invited to join the kid’s choir. Contact Terri-Ann Wynans for practice dates.
We provide many activities to immerse your children in the life of the church and all its celebrations.
Come join us to celebrate Saint’s Feast Days like the All Saint’s Eve Party, Our Lady of Guadalupe Mexican Fiesta, and lots more fun throughout the Church year.
Should you wish a child to receive the Sacraments, contact Terri-Ann Wynans at the office.
