Taking Care of the Parish
Much of caring for the Parish is done by volunteers
St. Peter's Cemetary is located on Falls Street. Volunteers maintain the graves with regular work bees, which are usually run by the Knights of Columbus.
The cleaning crew meet each Monday morning at 9:00 AM to clean the church. Coffee and fellowship follows. There are also volunteers that look after the altar linens and candles
Maintenance Volunteers look after the yard and gardens around the church. We are grateful for their time and skills that make our church property look so well cared for and beautiful.
Church Repair and Maintenance
We have a team of people who ensure the church and rectory are in good repair
The flowers that grace the sanctuary of the church are lovingly placed there by volunteers
We have a wonderful library filled with books, CD's, DVD's, and audiotapes. Parishioners are welcome to borrow books and other materials.
To ensure that the monetary gifts received at Mass, there are a team of money counters that sort, roll, count and ready the gifts for deposit into the church treasury.
Volunteers are welcomed to help with office duties such as photocopying and folding the weekly bulletin, and more
Social and Fundraising
The various groups within the parish hold fundraising and social events throughout the year. Please check the calendar of events for information about what is upcoming
Sunday After-Mass Coffee and Tea
Volunteers setup for coffee, tea and cookies during the 10: a.m. Mass on Sunday in preparation for a Parish Coffee, Tea and Cookie social each Sunday (unless some other event has been scheduled for that time).
